Stevedore Contractors



The Stevedore Department provides stevedoring service i.e. discharging and loading of conventional and containerized cargo aboard foreign and local vessels.

In cases where a vessel does not have its own gear, a Shore Crane is available to effect operations, thereby ensuring a rapid turn around of berthing at the La Penitence Terminal at all times.
